Recognized as an Exceptional & Experienced Teacher
She has been recognized twice for her dedicated service, receiving the
"It Takes a Team Award" with the South Bend Community School Corporation.
In 1995 she was awarded the Teacher of the Year
by the South Bend Community School Corporation
where she has been a Speech-Language Pathologist
for over 30 years.
She has served preschoolers to geriatrics/rehab.
She received both her BA and MA from Ball State University in Indiana.
She has presented at: IUSB's Early Childhood Conferences,
Early Childhood Developmental Center at Notre Dame/St. Mary's
and at the Leaning Disabilities Conferences in Indianapolis.

Visits patients in hospitals as well
Visits the sick and shut-in bringing them baked goods and meals
